Play Like a Girl Basketball Clinics

National PAL, in partnership with Servcom, proudly presents the “Play Like a Girl” basketball clinics. This initiative is dedicated to empowering young girls through the transformative power of sports. Held ten times throughout the year, these clinics provide a unique opportunity for girls to develop their basketball skills, build self-confidence, and promote teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Each clinic is designed for girls of all skill levels, from beginners to more advanced players. Participants receive expert coaching from experienced trainers who focus on technical skills and the importance of sportsmanship, perseverance, and leadership. Through engaging drills and friendly competitions, girls are encouraged to challenge themselves, set goals, and celebrate their progress.

A distinctive feature of the “Play Like a Girl” clinics is the inspirational panels hosted by retired and current WNBA players. These sessions allow participants to hear firsthand stories of triumph, resilience, and determination from women who have excelled in the world of sports. These role models share valuable life lessons, answer questions, and inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams on and off the court.

The “Play Like a Girl” program aims to create a lasting impact by fostering a love for basketball and encouraging girls to lead active, healthy lifestyles. National PAL and Servcom are committed to empowering young girls to reach their full potential by providing access to quality sports programs and positive female role models.
